EVERY CHRISTIAN BELIEVER CAN PROPHESY USING THE GIFT OF PROPHECY GIVEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Many Christian believers think that the prophetic is just for the Apostles, the Apostles, the Teachers, the Evangelists, the Pastors, and some "special" anointed people.

Sadly, they are not able to think of themselves as being able
to flow in this precious gift of the Holy Spirit.

However the bible teaches differently

HERE SOME STEPS HOW YOU CAN START:

We must desire to prophesy.
We need to become thirsty and hungry for the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Ask Him to stir up in you a longing for the highest gifts.
Moses Desire was that every one be a prophet and that the Spirit  of the Lord be upon them.
Remember, at that time the Spirit was given only to Prophets,
kings and a few people.
Numbers 11:29 (NKJV
29 Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the LORD’s people were prophets and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!”

THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ARE GIVEN FOR THE PROFIT OF ALL.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (NKJV)

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

PAUL IN THE NEW TESTAMENT ENCOURAGES TO DESIRE THIS GIFT.

Paul as well encourages us to seek the spiritual gifts, but especially that we may prophesy. Because prophesying brings benefit to the person prophesying and to the person or persons to whom the prophecy goes. It benefits the whole church!

1 Corinthians 14: (NKJV)

Prophecy and Tongues

14 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to menHe who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.

HOLY SPIRIT POURED OUT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

Numbers 11:27 (NKJV)
And a young man ran and told Moses, and said,
“Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.”

When the Holy Spirit comes in a person tehy can prophesy. In the scriptures below we see the prophet Samuel speaking to Saul before the coming of the Holy Spirit upon him.

1 Samuel 10:5-6(NKJV) After that you shall come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is. And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying. Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.

Proximity to people with anointing will bring that anointing upon you; God will see your desire and will grant you the precious anointing.
Important as well is the fact that when the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you, you will be transform into a NEW PERSON!

THE HOLY SPIRIT TRANSFORM US INTO A NEW MAN, JUST AS IN THE CASE OF PAUL.

The Spirit of God in us will transform us.
He said that He will give us a new Spirit.
And will removed our heart and put a new one in us.
We will be throw down from the horse of our ego and worldly desires
to become a holy container of the Spirit of the Lord.

In the NEW TESTAMENT, everyone can prophesy.
WHY?
Because the Holy Spirit is poured out on every believer.
The Prophetic Gift is inserted in us!

COMING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Coming of the Holy Spirit

Acts 2:1-4(NKJV)

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord[a] in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:16-1 (NKJV)

16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
